DESCRIPTION:CENTRAL EUROPEAN WORKSHOP ON QUANTUM OPTICS \nThe CEWQO conference series started in early 1990s in Central Europe and gradually transformed into one of most popular annual meetings of European scientists interested in foundations and applications of quantum optics. Quantum optics gave birth to quantum information and continues to be the driving force to design innovative theoretical and experimental approaches. The aim of this edition of CEWQO is to discuss new topics and provide inspiration going beyond quantum technology. \nThe 27th edition of the Central European Workshop on Quantum Optics (CEWQO2023) will take place in Milan (03-07 Jul-2023). \nOf particular relevance to SEQUOIA are the following topics: \n\nFundamental aspects of quantum optics\nQuantum correlations and entanglement\nQuantum sensing and metrology\nQuantum communications.
