This longstanding (since 1984) biannual conference brings together outstanding researchers and young scientists in Quantum Optics, Quantum Gases and Quantum Information in a high-level environment to present and discuss the recent most exciting developments and highlights in stimulating surroundings. Cross-disciplinary event highlighting compelling optics and photonics technologies—from digital optics to quantum technologies to optical imaging, sensing, and metrology. Additional topics include THz photonics, 3D printed optics, photonic glasses, photosensitive materials, and biophotonics.

EOSAM 2024 is organized by The European Optical Society, EOS, in close collaboration with the Italian Society for Optics and Photonics, SIOF, the Italian branch of EOS. SEQUOIA will present at this event, so please check the agenda for info!

The Skłodowska Quantum Conference (QURIE) will gather leading experts in quantum science, focusing on groundbreaking fields such as quantum communication, cryptography, computation, machine learning, and quantum technologies. Crislane de Brito (Nicolaus Copernicus University, Toruń) will present a poster on “OAM-Based Quantum-OCT and Noise Source Analysis” related to SEQUOIA developments.

"Sensing with Quantum Light" There is a special venue for the event: The river cruiser MS Swiss Crown. It will travel from Passau to Vienna and back again. This workshop aims at covering a broad range of theoretical and experimental aspects of sensing with quantum light, offering for forum for both fundamental aspects and applications.
