SEQUOIA 12M meeting

Last week (16-17 Nov-2023) SEQUOIA held its 12M plenary project meeting at TU Delft. This included an online meeting with the SEQUOIA Advisory Board and a presentation from Horizon Europe quantum project MUQUABIS. It was a great opportunity to discuss the conceptually difficult technical details face-to-face. Thanks to Aurele and his team for being such excellent hosts!

SEQUOIA researcher Prof. Piotr Kolenderski (Nicolaus Copernicus University) is an invited speaker at the Special Session on Quantum Optics and Quantum Information at the 6th International Conference on Optics, Photonics and Lasers (Madeira; 17-19 May-2023).

Similar to the previous OPAL conferences, OPAL’ 2023 will incorporate three symposiums covering a broaden range in optics, photonics and lasers, and provide an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and present latest advancements in these areas.

SEQUOIA researcher position!!!

SEQUOIA is underway, and there is an open position at TU Delft for a post-doc to work on this exciting project. The ideal candidate is an optical experimentalist, with a background in laser physics and beam control.

Please find more information on this link or forward to anyone who may be interested!! Or you could get in touch directly by email.

SEQUOIA kick-off meeting

SEQUOIA held its kick-off meeting 09-10 Nov-2022 at the project Coordinator NKT Photonics HQ in Birkeroed, Denmark.

It was great to meet all of the SEQUOIA colleagues after the long gap in meetings due to COVID-19 restrictions, and lots of useful discussions were held over the two days, including during a visit to Copenhagen city centre.
